From Greece to Sofia for Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper

I can’t believe that I am writing these words: «I watched Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and the whole band of Hollywood Vampires performing live in Sofia». A dream came true.

Me and my friend visited Sofia Bulgaria for four days just to watch this band. It was a lifetime experience and it was the best feeling in the whole world.

The Arena Sofia located a few minutes away from the city center, is a great stadium to watch a live show. It’s a large venue with great acoustic inside. I mean, I could hear every single world that came out of their mouth.

After 18:00 the doors opened and people started to enter the building. Good vibes only was the key to this live show. I was thrilled that I saw too many young people who attended the event just to be part of this magnificent live show. Different cultures and ages where inside of the Arena Sofia and it was a wonderful feeling.

I was not able to watch the first support band because I was in the smoking area but the second one who called “Sevi” was a great one. I think it’s a famous band in Bulgaria because the audience seem to know many of their songs. I am sorry, I haven’t heard them before, but I would definitely become a fan.

At 21:02 the magic begun. The backdrop beside the stage starts to glow and some of the most incredible graphic designs and videos appeared. OMG, it’s happening.

Glen Sobel was the first who came out on the stage. People started screaming because they knew that at some point he is going to solo with his drums and he will blow our minds. After him, Chris Wyse, Buck Johnson and Tommy Henriksen entered the stage.

A few moments later, the legendary Joey Perry started playing his guitar and that was the begging of a great night. Johnny Depp followed him and last but not least, the magnificent Alice Cooper, started singing.

I am a huge fan of Jonny Depp. I love his films and the characters that he performs but to watch him with his guitar and his smile upon the stage, oh my. It was a dream came true. I started screaming like a little child.

Since I was 15 years old, the song “Poison” by Alice Cooper was at the top of my list. This legendary man, he is 75 years old and his voice sounds like a decade ago. I mean, please Alice, you have to tell us your secret mate.

As far as Joey’s Perry performed there is not much to tell. He is the top guitarist in the universe in my opinion and just to listen the sound of his own guitar in my ears, oh my god. That is a memory I would never forget.

These night was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend you to attend one of their live shows as soon as possible. It was an unforgettable experience.

Thank you very much gentlemen for the great show. It was an honor to be at the audience that night. I hope to see you again. Until then, your album “Rise” is all I have.
